ironetic is excited to announce a new website for BrainHealth Mechanics, which released a few weeks ago. The site promotes a 12-session program that helps improve cognitive function by promoting positive thoughts, self-awareness and emotional regulation. The project was brought to us by Dr. Eric Smith, Ph.D. and Cheryl Wright, LCSW. It has been a delight working with them to produce this.

The main page of the site features a detailed, interactive headspace animation with hints at some of the topics covered in the program. The animation was a main requirement of the site, and was described in detail by Dr. Smith, who wanted a showpiece that he could bring up in his sessions to visually demonstrate certain concepts. Jai produced the sleeping Z’z, bird movements and musical notes, while I assembled the animation sequences. The work was done using the Greensock Animation Platform (GSAP) to allow non-linear editing of clips. Some of the assets were purchased, while others were produced using generative A.I. All assets were modified in Adobe PhotoShop by me personally, resized, given transparency and carefully inserted into the animation sequence.

The overall design of the website, and its core development, were entirely performed by Jai. I personally feel it is one of her finest designs, with some dynamic color choice and inviting shapes that draw the eye towards key points of information. The site is built on WordPress using the Timber plugin to allow for the use of Twig templates, and works seamlessly with the native WordPress Gutenberg Block Editor. Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) is used to allow each section to be easily modified via the WordPress Admin.

If you like this animation and would like something like it for your own website, feel free to contact ironetic to get a quote. Likewise, if you need a website or web application, we are accepting new clients. We’ve got more software in the works for Dr. Smith and Cheryl Wright, so be sure to check back for an announcement on that exciting project.
